Dyspepsia, as doctors refer to it, is a general name given to several symptoms, or disorders of the digestive system concerning burning pain in the upper abdomen:

Indigestion is generally not very serious and can be caused by overeating, poor digestion, sensitivity to certain food, or having too little gastric acid.
